Leaves of Absence and Disability Accommodations. Managing employee absences, protected leave entitlements and requests for disability accommodation can be a challenge given the backdrop of complex and sometimes contradictory federal and state laws. Recent statutory and regulatory changes to the ADA and FMLA require employers to address leave issues with increasing frequency and care.
