CLE Featuring:King County Superior Court Judge John Erlick
Judge John Erlick was first elected to the King County Superior Court in September 2000, he recently served as Chief Civil Judge for King County Superior Court and now presides over juvenile offender trials and hearings.
Judge Erlick teaches professional responsibility as an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law. He also serves as a supervisor for the school’s judicial externship program.
In his presentation, Lawyers Online: The Ethical Pitfalls (and Pratfalls) of Social Media, Judge Erlick will address some key areas of concern for lawyers on use of social media: ex parte contact, lawyer advertising, breach of confidentiality, trial publicity, and other ethical issues.
