Professor Chinen is an Associate Professor of Law at the Seattle University School of Law. He was educated at Pomona College and Yale Divinity School before receiving his law degree from Harvard Law School. Professor Chinen has practiced in the areas of international trade, banking and corporate and securities law in Washington D.C. with the firm, Covington & Burling. In this ethics CLE, Professor Chinen will use a story to serve as a springboard for reflection and discussion about certain aspects of the legal profession, its rules of ethics, and attorney-client relationships.
