ResourcesThe Alaska Teaching Justice Network recommends several major resources for educators, lawyers, judges, and others interested in law-related education (LRE) activities and programs: Youth for Justice is a program sponsored by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) of the U.S. Department of Justice. It serves as the umbrella for a network of five national organizations that offer lesson plans, special activities, professional development and other support to advance law-related education. These organizations are: American Bar Association Division for Public Education Constitutional Rights Foundation & CRF-Chicago Phi Alpha Delta Public Service Center Information about Youth for Justice and its partner programs can be found on its website: www.youthforjustice.org TeachLRE is an e-newsletter for teachers and anyone else interested in law-related education that is sponsored by Youth for Justice. Subscribers receive the YFJ Net News and other resources. For more information about how you can subscribe, contact Nisan Chavkin at the Constitutional Rights Foundation Chicago. The National Conference of State Legislatures' offers a variety of educational programs on the legislative process. Alaskan LRE Resources: In addition to these national
resources, the Alaska Teaching Justice Network hopes to develop Alaskan-oriented
LRE materials that can be shared on this site, and to add other resources
