Project Citizen
A portfolio-based civic education project for middle grade students (grades 5-8) and youth groups presented by the Center for Civic Education and the National Conference of State Legislatures. It empowers students to make a difference in their community while teaching them many life-long skills and participation in a constitutional republic.

Anchorage Youth Court
Anchorage Youth Court Bar Association students make a difference in the lives of peers who have committed crimes by offering them an option to the finality of juvenile court.

The Alaska Court System seeks to foster public understanding of courts and America’s legal system. As the third branch of government, the judiciary plays a vital role in our democracy. Judicial officers welcome opportunities to meet with students of all ages and discuss the role our justice system plays in fulfilling our country’s promise of liberty, justice and equality under law.

CIVITAS Eastern Russia
"CIVITAS Eastern Russia" is a part of the project "CIVITAS: An International Civic Education Exchange Program." "CIVITAS Eastern Russia" works on both sides of the Pacific Ocean in Alaska and Washington states (USA) and the Russian Far East.
