Consumer Protection and the Elderly - The Elder Law section is very fortunate to have special speaker *David Horn with us this Wednesday, October 17th at noon in the Alaska Bar Office. Mr. Horn will be speaking about consumer protection issues and scams targeting the elderly. 1 CLE Credit.

*Dave Horn is Assistant Regional Director of the Federal Trade Commission’s Northwest Region, which includes Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. The FTC enforces consumer protection and antitrust laws, frequently working with state attorneys general and other enforcement agencies. The FTC also works to educate consumers to better protect themselves. Dave joined the FTC in 2005 after 18 years with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office and two years in private practice in Seattle. Dave is a graduate of Whitman College and Harvard Law School.
