Leaves of Absence and Disability Accommodations.  Managing employee absences, protected leave entitlements and requests for disability accommodation can be a challenge given the backdrop of complex and sometimes contradictory federal and state laws.  Recent statutory and regulatory changes to the ADA and FMLA require employers to address leave issues with increasing frequency and care.  Keelin Curran, a Labor & Employment partner with the Seattle office of Stoel Rives LLP, and attorney Angie Richards, Vice President of Human Resources for Katmai Government Services, will lead the discussion utilizing real-life scenarios and providing practical guidance to curb employee abuse of leave entitlements.  1 General CLE Credit.  Pizza will be served.
