Roundtable Discussion.  The discussion focused on the Medicare 3.8% tax on net investment income scheduled to start in 2013, the 2009 proposed regulations under §104 allowing exclusion from income for damages received for emotional distress attributable to a physical injury or physical sickness (including for related medical care), as well as the relative likelihood of congressional action in the next year or two on income and transfer taxes.  1 General CLE Credit.
