Reciprocity Information

Your application will NOT BE ACCEPTED until all of the information we request is provided, including your fingerprint card. We cannot start your character investigation without a complete application on file.

Requirements for Admission to the Alaska Bar Association:

• Pass the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) with a scaled score of 80 or higher. For MPRE schedule and registration information, visit the NCBE website.
  
  

• Video presentation of the Mandatory Ethics course as required by the Board of Governors.  You may either view the video on YouTube or contact the Bar Office for a DVD if you are unable to stream videos in your area.

• File an Affidavit of Review with the Alaska Bar that you have read the Alaska Rules of Professional Conduct (ARPC) in accordance with Alaska Bar Rule 64.
