Discussion of the potentially devastating impact of domestic violence on children. Topics include implications of this research for community services and the justice system, the effects of domestic violence at various stages of children’s development, current legal trends in the U.S. and intended and unintended consequences of law reform, and critical issues in assessing victims, perpetrators, and their children.
